I am looking to sell my precious baby because I am in the market for an upgrade. My 2005 WRX is equipped with the Premium Package. It is Crystal Grey Metallic with a Black Interior. Currently it has 57,800 miles, and has been babied for the past 3.5 years (purchased from dealer on Oct 31, 2004). It has been fun to drive, and never raced or seen the track (obv. since its basically stock).
I have used Mobil 1 Synthetic 5W-30 oil for every oil change. Oil changes have ranged from 3,200 – 3,500 miles (I believe I could keep the synthetic in longer, but I still changed it anyways since every other oil change for my car was free from the dealer). Even when changed at the dealer, I would give them 5 quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic so that I would remain constant in the blood of my car (it takes a little more than 4.5 quarts per oil change).
Asking price is a reasonable $14,200. I have taken my car to CarMax right off Rockville Pike 8 miles away, and they offered $13,000 recently, and I have it in writing, so please don’t low ball me. I’m serious about selling my car, so please be courteous to me. I know everyone wants to make a good deal.
